Last revised: Feb. 2, 2010.
We list major new features,
improvements, bug fixes and other supplement in this version as below;
[New Features]
- Enabling Java Applets:
With
Java 1.6.0_10, Java applets can be enabled in browser tabs now!
Make sure your computer has installed this Java version. You may
also change this setting in Exp+ Setup Center.
- Supporting 7zip Archives:
You cannot only compress and extract Zip archives, but
compress and extract 7z archives in folder tabs. You may select one of the
formats by right-clicking on folders or files.
[Improvements]
- Auto-Clicking Drop-Down Menu
When the drop-down menu is too long, a bottom arrow and
a top arrow will appear. Traditionally, to go down one item, you
have to click the bottom arrow once. How
inconvenient it is!
Starting from this version, whenever a cursor stays on a
bottom arrow or a top arrow, the auto-clicking will be performed until the
bottom or the top of the list is reached. This function is applied to
folder tab, group list in mainmenu Group, and Favorites and
so on.
- Clearer syntax for using web
search engine aliases
To avoid confusing, the syntax of
using alias to activate web search engines has been changed
from Space to Colon.
Before: Use Space to separate
alias and key words. Now: Use Colon (:) to separate alias and key words.
- Fancier Location Bar for Folder Tabs
For a better user experience, the appearance of location bar
in folder tabs has become more attractive. This feature is
also applied to Batch File Renamer and Directory
Synchronizer.
[Bug Fixes]
- Stopping Instant Settings of Web
Page e-Mailer from changing Template
When emailing a web page, any instant settings you make
will not change the settings of template in Exp+ Setup
Center.
- Displaying An Error Message of Web Page e-Mailer
If any errors occurred when e-mailing a web page, an
error message will be popped up in this version.
- Displaying An Error Message of
Scheduled Backups
When the backup destination path is not
accessible, auto-backups cannot be executed, an error
message will be popped up in this version.
- Backing up All Unlisted Format
Files for 'Select All' selection
In Backup Tool, even though some file formats may not be
listed in 'Backup File Type' field, whenever a 'Select
All' item is selected, all format files will be backed up.
- Adding Wikipedia into
Web Search Engine
Wikipedia is now addable.
[Other Supplement]
- A suspension from previewing MS
Office files
Due to possible problems may be caused by recent Windows
security updates, Using File Content Previewer to preview Excel,
Word etc files is suspended in this version.
