Risingware Exp+ 2.4.0 is now
available for both Free Edition user and Professional Edition
user. This release includes many new features, improvements, bug fixes,
and other supplement. Some of which are listed as follows;
New Features
- A plug-in interface is added.
- Adding a plug-in -- HTML Component Downloader
When current tab is a web page, you can activate this tool to download images files, ActiveX objects and Scripts.
- A Plug-in Bar and a plug-in management function are added.
- Adding a Temporary Internet File Downloader
You can use this tool to download temporary internet files, such as
html files, images, media.
- You can now drag files and drop them on Fast Start Bar. Each of them will become a fast start
and appear on the Fast Start Bar immediately.
- Adding a Java version
detecting mechanism
IF the first initialization
of Risingware Exp+ fails, system will detect whether
your Java version is older than 1.6. If so, a error
dialog including a link to Java official website will
appear.
Improvements
- Improve the way to keep web
browsing records in drop-down menu of Recent Web Pages
button on each tab bar. From website-oriented to
webpage-oriented.
- All configurable toolbars are
displayed in right-click menus of all toolbars,
including Configure Folder Function Key Bar, Configure
Web Page Function Key Bar, Configure Fast Start Bar,
Configure Plug-in Bar, instead of only displaying
"Configure" in right-click menus of configurable ones.
- Improve the opening methods of
Open Items Selectively, an option in drop-down menu of a
group, from simply a Confirm button to Open in Left
Panel button and Open in Right Panel button.
- Improve the width of navigation
panel to be able to be adjusted while floating.
Useful Tip
- Open Subfolders in an Instant
Drag subfolders onto one of tab bars, and drop them when a link image appears
on cursor icon.
