Risingware Exp+ 2.6.0 Release Notes
|
|
|
Last revised: December 4, 2010.
Some major new features, improvements, bug fixes,
and other supplements
in 2.6.0 are as follows;
[New Features]
- You can now configure a web page,
part of a group, to run a
Java Script file or a plug-in when it is opened.
- You can now start an app or open a file/document with parameter or working directory.
- You can now disable "Fisheye"
special effect on images in Start Page through Exp+ Setup Center. That is to say, you can remove effects that make images change in size
as mouse moves in and out.
[Improvements]
- Not only is the performance of displaying image files with
File Content Fast Previewer improved, but the memory
usage of that is also reduced.
- To close a locked tab, you can
now simply double-click on its floating X sign button.
- Setting interface of group items is
now divided from one to three. One is for
web pages, another is for folder tabs, and the other is
for files and applications. Each has its respective
settings.
- Aside from sending a number of files to a
group from their right-click menu in a folder tab, you
can now add individual one to a group in Organize
Favorite Group window.
- A Fast Preview tab generated by
File Content Fast Previewer will no longer be closed right
after the focus in panel was switched to another tab.
- An occasional slowness occurred
when viewing a folder
in details in Windows 7, which is improved.
- Titles of email sent to recipients'
mailbox by Web Page e-Mailer are modified. That is,
a web page title will not be added to the end of email title so as to prevent
it from being too long.
[Bug Fixes]
- The value of field "After
closing out all tabs, open a Start Page with" in
Exp+ Setup Center wasn't
able to be saved after it was modified. This
problem is fixed.
- The Refresh button at
navigation panel didn't work in which it locates but in
another panel where focus is on. This problem is fixed.
- Long file names were displayed
incompletely while folder tab was viewed in small icon.
This problem is fixed.
- Some dysfunctional options are
removed from right-click menu of files in Tabs like Zip
tab, 7z tab, RAR tab. This problem is fixed.
- Using Viewing File Cycle or
Sorting File Cycle button on a folder tab didn't enter
its own cycle but enter that of the last folder tab on which
these buttons were used. This problem is fixed.
- After folders were sent to a
group from their right-click menu in a folder tab, the
icons displayed in context menu of the group listed in
drop-down menu of mainmenu Group were incorrect. This
problem is fixed.
- User tip of New a Search Engine
button was displayed
incompletely in Manage Web Search Engines window. This problem is fixed.
- User tip of Add this Path to
Search List button was
displayed incompletely in Advanced File Search window. This problem is fixed.
- File extensions were not
displayed in tab Recent Documents in navigation panel.
This problem is fixed.
[Other Supplement]
- Adjusting function of function
key F2
Before this version, function key F2 worked as
New Tab button, whose hotkey is Ctr+N, on both folder
tabs and web pages. From now on, however, it works both
as Consecutive File Renaming button, whose hotkey is
Alt+R, on folder tabs to match common usage and as Save
As button, whose hotkey is Cltr+S, on web pages.
- Distinguishing usage between
fixed and mini floating buttons of File Content Fast
Previewer
Starting from this version, clicking
floating mini button of File Content Fast Previewer
causes a different result from its fixed one.
Specifically speaking, the former is suitable for random
need, and the latter suits consecutive need. Namely,
clicking the latter will activate this Previewer to work
until it is disabled. During the period, selecting a
file will display its content in fast preview tab in the
opposite panel.
